For this third issue of Arsène and Family, we meet content creator Astrid Puig. Balancing life as a mother and her role as a self-employed entrepreneur, she talks to us about her fast-paced daily life and her relationship with fashion.
Meeting Astrid
It is in Biarritz, just a few meters from the beach, that Astrid welcomes us into her home. A mother of two boys, Marcel and Ziggy, aged 6 and 2 and a half, she juggles professional and personal life: “I have a PhD in psychology, but I no longer practice. With my husband, Lucas Puig, a professional skateboarder, we run our children’s skate company, Mino Skateboards.”
Sport, family, and life in Biarritz
At Astrid’s, sport plays a central role. Between surfing and skateboarding, board sports set the rhythm of her daily life: “I’ve lived in Biarritz for 9 years and I couldn’t live far from the ocean anymore, especially because of my passion for surfing.”
At the same time, Astrid has managed to build a true community on Instagram, sharing content that reflects her personality: cool and elegant. But how does she manage to stay on course and juggle all these roles?
“I’m lucky to have a flexible schedule, which allows me to do sports (running, Pilates, or surfing); it’s essential for me to unwind. I wake up every day between 6 and 7 a.m., even on weekends—we’re all early risers in the family. No two days are the same: I adapt my schedule according to surf conditions and tides. I take care of emails, production follow-up, orders, and preparing shoots for Mino. I also manage my Instagram account by creating content and maintaining relationships with communication agencies and brands.”
Afternoons are dedicated to her two boys and their activities, with the support of Lucas, her husband, which allows her to pursue all her projects with energy and passion.
A fashion vision in harmony with her life
Female inspiration
Astrid draws her inspiration from female figures such as Jane Goodall, the famous British anthropologist:
“She was a model of patience and kindness, both for the animal cause and for humanity.”
A reference that perfectly reflects her own approach to life, combining energy, softness, and commitment .
Astrid’s casual chic style
Sporty and a globe-trotter, Astrid explains that she has a rather casual wardrobe, without giving up on style:
“For me, clothes are a reflection of your personality, your mood, your style. If you don’t feel good in them, they can change your mood for the entire day.”
She favors timeless, well-cut pieces, sometimes mixed with a more street-style touch borrowed from her husband.
Her fashion essentials? “A great pair of jeans and a beautiful knit,” pieces she actually selected from our boutique for this shoot.
Her everyday style with A.P Woman

As our meeting comes to an end, she leaves us with her favorite mantra, which helps and motivates her every day: “Let’s enjoy the good moments and, in times of adversity, remember that better days will come.” A lovely way to end this interview.
