For this new Friends and Family edition, we’re heading to Biarritz, to Marine’s home, along with her two children, Louisa and Gabriel.
Welcome to Marine’s Home
Marine is a bit of a superwoman 2.0: Marketing and e-commerce manager for the swimwear brand Sowe, she effortlessly navigates between a demanding professional life and a fast-paced family routine.
“With my children, Louisa and Gabriel, we live in Biarritz and are never far from the water… We love swimming and trying all kinds of water activities! And when we’re not in the water, you’ll most likely spot us riding our long-tail bike along the Basque Coast!”
As soon as we arrive, we discover a bright, joyful, and lively apartment. Louisa, 10 years old, is the first to greet us, wearing a huge smile and brimming with excitement for the shoot. She hesitates over her hairstyle: a bun or loose hair? After some thought, she goes with the latter.
Gabriel, 8 years old, joins us shortly after. We know him well—he modeled for the brand this past winter. Behind his smile (still missing a few teeth) hides a fun, playful boy whose greatest joy is making those around him laugh.
A Fast-Paced Daily Life
As Marine explains: “A happy home means sharing good meals, the occasional sibling squabble, and talking about our top three moments of the day during the bedtime cuddle before falling asleep.”
The photoshoot begins, and everyone happily joins in.
Passing on this lightness and joy for life is essential for Marine:
“I grew up with two sisters, and we were always very close. I do my best to make sure the bond between Louisa and Gabriel grows into a lasting relationship built on trust and closeness.”
Of course, having siblings means busy weekends. Sleeping in until 10 a.m.? A myth.
Between synchronized swimming for Louisa, tennis for Gabriel and sea swims for Marine, Saturdays and Sundays feel like a real family triathlon. The whole family then gathers around a good lunch, enjoying the stunning view of La Rhune from their terrace.
The rest of the day unfolds at a gentler pace: games, crafts, homework… simple yet essential moments. Their weekly ritual?

10 years of togetherness with Arsène et les Pipelettes
The story between Arsène et les Pipelettes and Marine began ten years ago, when she was pregnant with Louisa. It was a friend who introduced her to the brand: “I instantly fell in love with its DNA. I was drawn to its freshness and simplicity. The collections are designed to support everyday life, with comfort and style! To me, it’s a fun, lively and sparkling brand.”
And that’s exactly what Arsène et les Pipelettes is all about: an invitation to have fun through clothing, to bring color into everyday life, and to never lose one’s childlike spirit.
The shoot is now coming to an end, and once again, we were lucky enough to share a wonderful moment with a truly lovely family. We are incredibly proud to be part of the everyday lives of such great people through our collections.
